Word of the Lord Oct. 19, 17

Lift yourself out of places of darkness and despair to see the wonder of My kingdom, says the Lord.  Set yourself to remember the good things–the things that bring hope and joy.  It is good to be grateful for what you have been given instead of bemoaning the challenges and adversity that you face in life.
Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
God’s trying to take over in the hearts of many Christians who have an assignment 2 carry the words of life, not the words of the angry wind.  Get ready to see your faith and authority in prayer increase as God uses you to touch others.  Doug Addison
October 19, 2017. All is going as planned. The thought occasionally comes to your mind that this is going too well and something unexpected may happen to sabotage what is happening. This thinking comes from past times when things like that happened. It would devastate what was going on, leaving you very disappointed. Dismiss that thought immediately when it comes. Satan wants to disrupt anything that is God ordained. This is a good event. Yes, it is ordained of Me. Continue walking in peace.
1 Peter 5:8-9 (ESV) “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.”  Bev Robinson
October 19, 2017Every now and then it’s a good idea to take time to pause and let there be a break in your normal everyday proceedings. Sometimes silence is the best remedy for the noise which is taking place. When you were in elementary school, recess was probably your favorite time of the day, wasn’t it? It was a time of refreshment. A regular pause in your day now can have the same effect as recess did then.
Mark 6:31 (NIV) “Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, He said to them, “Come with Me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”  Kevin Robinson
October 19, 2017. I have given you bulletproof armor. In your world today, the enemy has targeted you. Do not let your guard down for even a moment because the devil prowls around looking for a target that is unprotected. I have provided you with the tools needed to maintain your protection. I have given you the Holy Spirit and I have provided My armor for you to put on each day. Having done everything to stand, stand firm!
Ephesians 6:13 “Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.”  Jonas Bohlin
